The Mayor of Mancunia

Can YOU make the right decisions to secure a brighter future for people and planet?

Climate change. Everyone knows it's a problem.

But the newly-established Independent Republic of Mancunia has been doing great at tackling it: renewable energy - on it; active transport - going great; stronger communities - showing up and showing the rest of the UK how it’s done.

Now it’s time to change the food system. Luckily, Mancunia has a new Mayor who’s got a plan for how to deliver a brighter future for people and planet.

Are YOU ready to make history, Mayor?

The Mayor of Mancunia was commissioned by the SHIFT research project at the University of Oxford, for display at Manchester Museum. It was supported by the Wellcome Trust [grant number: 227132/Z/23/Z].
