Visualisation.

Projects map

FF have made a lot of very different projects, especially if you include the work we made as fanSHEN before 2020. From the outside, the elements of continuity may not be apparent so we decided to make this visualisation to represent what led what.

Projects are colour coded but also linked to other projects that they have a close relationship with. Sometimes this is about form: for The Justice Syndicate, Joe built what we’ve come to call SyndicateOS, a platform which we’ve gone on to use for all kinds of projects. Sometimes it’s about a partnership, for example the multiple projects we’ve made with the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science. And sometimes, it’s about the audience, for example the work we’ve made with and for young people. If you hover over a box, you’ll see what it is linked to.

At the moment, projects are arranged on a timeline, but you can drag them around.

You can click through to each project’s webpage from its box.
